you need guts for that
Recently there was so much fuss regarding sonia gandhi's resignation from the post of chairman of national advisory council. most of the people regarded it as political powerplay but whatever you say this lady certainly has some guts. i cant remember any name of any indian politician who has resigned under such circumstances . she had done it earlier by giving the post of PM and now she has again proved altruism by this act. Many more politicians come under the same scanner but they can't do the same after all they have the corrupt indian blood which keeps them glued to their posts.

looks like blogging is the latest craze in India..chatting,messaging seems to be history!!Anyways wasn't able to resist myself from commenting on this one...Mrs.Sonia Gandhi what should we say about this lady..its really hard to know what her motives are.First she doesn't take the PM's post and now this resignation.She had all that an "Indian" politician would ever want..but she gave it away..why??
Well what i believe is that she never had all this..as far as the PM's post is concerned she wasn't even eligible for it and that is what our constitution says.coz she was born in italy..and now that she is an indian citizen..she gets the same rights that an indian born would get after attaining the citizenship of italy..thats what our constitution says!!so tell me can an indian be made the PM of Italy??I can't imagine that..so i dont think she did anything great by refusing the PM's post!!
And then this resignation..well as I have very limited sources for news(just got cnn)over here in germany so cant say much about it..but just looks to be another election strategy to me..waste of money..waste of time..thats all it is.I had heard that there are some 45 more people in congress who are holding office of profit and they were told to resign by sonia gandhi!!what happened to them..I suppose there are still there..So what if 1 player is out..the politics will go on.
It's really strange..takes just one woman to fool a billion people!!
Anyways now I need to get on with my work..no point wasting more time on our lovely politics.But ya i can use it as my first blog;)

so sonia again came up with something which took the steam out of the opposition's attack. but don't forget that sonia is the leader of a party and she should be solely held responsible for all the wrongs which the congress commits.with the clout she enjoys in the party and the extent to which congressmen bend their backs to show their loyalty to her, couldn't she have prevented the unconstitutional dissolution of bihar assembly, the undemocratic way in which the upa government was installed in jharkhand and many other such incidents. clearly she was always in the thick of things.but stayed quiet about it because the congress was targetted not she. but whenever questions are asked about her or the nehru-gandhi family she is ready to make these occasional sacrifices.
to say this is not to take anything away from her decision. she is definitely better than the power-hungry,uncivilized vultures of the bjp, but she should not try to build a kind of halo around the nehru-gandhi family. to try to always be a level above your party's workers is not a good thing to do. gandhiji was a cut above the rest not because he tried to but because he personally took responsibility of all the wrong deeds the congressmen committed.
i think my message is conveyed.
